WHAT'S IN MY SHOWER?

Since my what's in my bag post was a pretty popular one, I thought you all might appreciate another 'nosey post' (they really are the best kind). So today I'm going to share what's in my shower. These posts are just so oddly interesting. I'm going to do mini reviews as I go but let me know if you'd like an in depth review on anything I've listed here.

Soap & Glory 'Clean On Me' Shower Gel
This smells beautiful, it's the original Soap & Glory 'Pink' fragrance. It lathers up really well and feels very smooth on the skin. This feels like a very luxurious shower gel, I got this in the Best Of All set, but I think it's around £5.50 which is amazing for the size of the bottle!

Bath & Bodyworks 'Pink Sugarplum' Shower Gel
I got this in a swap I did with Ariel from chiclookxo.com and I love it. It's the most gorgeous smelling shower gel ever, it's so sweet and girly smelling. What I love about this is how long the scent lasts on your skin after you've showered with it. I'll be so sad when this runs out as we don't have B&BW in the UK -boo!

Soap & Glory 'Sugar Crush' Body Scrub
I have to admit, when I first got this in the Best Of All set, I was unsure of it. I didn't really like the citrussy scent too much, but after using it a few times, I really like it. It's a really nice scrub and it makes my skin feel super smooth. The scent isn't as strong when you're actually using it and it mixes with all the other scents of everything else I use so it's definitely grown on me.

Sephora Precision Pore Cleansing Pad
I bought this when I went to New York a couple of years ago and I think this was only about $5 so it's held up very well. I like to cleanse my face in the shower so I keep my face washes in the shower with my other stuff. This massages the face as you use it meaning you get a deeper cleanse, I love it!

Soap & Glory 'Peaches and Clean' Face Wash
As I said, I like to cleanse my face in the shower because if I cleanse in the evening then shower in the morning, I like to cleanse again. This is a lovely cleanser, its very soft and smooth and makes my face feel really fresh and clean. It smells like artificial peaches, which I personally love, but others might not. If you don't like strong scented facial products then this won't be for you, but if that doesn't bother you I'd definitely recommend it.

Murad Energizing Pomegranate Cleanser
This is a foaming facial wash and I think it's targeted towards more oily skin. So this is perfect if I'm having a bad skin day/ week! I've had this for months and months and it's lasted so long, it's expensive but it lasts a long time - especially as I don't use it for every day use. If you have problem skin or just like your skin to feel super clean this is fab.

Andrew Barton 'Blondes Have More Fun' Colour Boost Shampoo
I honestly only bought this because it was quite cheap in ASDA and I needed a new shampoo. It smells kind of lemon-y which I don't love, but it makes my hair feel squeaky clean which is great. I try not to wash my hair every day so I like a shampoo that makes my hair really clean so it lasts longer between washes and this does just that.

ProVoke 'Touch Of Silver' Brightening Shampoo
This is the best toning shampoo for blondes. Hands down, it's only about £3 as well which is just incredible. If you're a blonde that's prone to orangey yellow tones then go find this! I've tried so many high end toning shampoos that don't even come close to this.

Schartzkopf Gliss 'Liquid Silk' Conditioner
I got this on sale recently in Superdrug while I was buying my beloved Schartzkopf Gliss leave in conditoner. This is a nice conditioner, it's not the greatest one I've ever tried but it's a nice one as an everyday (or every wash) conditioner. It's pretty moisturising and doesn't make my hair feel weighed down which is great. I also really like the way it smells, I'm not sure how to describe it, it's just very clean and soft smelling.

L'Oreal Elvive 'Triple Resist' Conditioner
This is another great 'every wash' conditioner, it doesn't give you the ridiculously beautiful hair the adverts promise, but it does make my hair feel smooth and soft and not at all weighed down, so can't complain!

Soap & Glory 'Glad Hair Day' Intensive Conditioner
Another Soap & Glory product? Yes, I am obsessed. Glad Hair Day is my favourite conditioner. It makes my hair feel lovely and soft and nourished but honestly, these aren't the reasons it's my favourite. It's the best for me because it makes my hair smell amazing. It's got that beautiful typical Soap & Glory scent that we all know and love and the smell stays on your hair all day long. I catch the scent on my hair all day and others notice it too, love love love!

I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if you've done one of these.

  9. I totally agree with you about the Touch Of Silver shampoo! I've tried a lot of the high end pricey toners, and they don't have any effect on my hair at all! X
