NOT ON THE HIGHSTREET

Hello lovelies! Hope you're all having a fab day. A note to all the lovelies from the UK, on a scale of 1 to 10, how sick are you of this snow? Is it not supposed to be spring?? Being about a 15 out of 10 myself, it really cheered me up to come home to a pile of parcels waiting for me after a delayed train home from work and a pair of very soggy, frozen feet. I was recently contacted by Not on the Highstreet, asking me if I'd be interested in trying and reviewing a few things and with it being a site I constantly browse through, in awe of all the adorable things, I jumped on the chance! These all arrived today, packaged in separate parcels (which for some reason, makes it ten times more exciting). They were all packaged really well and very securely, which is great. There's really nothing worse than a squashed, dented or broken item due to rubbish packaging.

So, the first thing I chose was this gorgeous Initial Wash bag by Alphabet bags. I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it, it's so cute! It's the perfect size for my everyday make up bag (which I will, do an updated post on soon, promise!) and the design is just so simple and lovely. It's got a waxy, coated finish and is lined with black fabric, so the outside will be easy to clean and the inside won't show horrible makeup stains too much. I was in desperate need for a new makeup bag so this came at just the right time, love it!

Next up, is this adorable little notebook by James Ellis. I love notebooks a bit too much and get through them like mad with work, blogging and life. I'm a lists person, so I need a notebook handy at all times. I'm not one for any old pukka pad or WH smiths jotter, I have to have a pretty notebook in my bag so this is perfect. I love how it's personalized, I think it makes it just a little extra special. This would make a fab gift for someone, like myself, who loves a good list.

And finally, the ridiculously cute pug earrings by plain jane pugs, because why wouldn't you want silver pugs in your ears? These are already my favourite pair of earrings that I own/ have ever owned/ will ever own. They're sterling silver, which is fab as it means I can wear them for more than a few hours without my ears getting sore. I love fashion earrings, but cheapy ones have a tendency to make my ears a bit sore and red, but these shouldn't be a problem, which is great.

Overall, I'm very impressed with Not on the Highstreet, all the products I received are fantastic quality and I'd recommend them to absolutely anyone! Perfect when you want a gift (or treat for yourself!) that's a little bit different.
