JUICY COUTURE 'COUTURE LA LA' REVIEW

Hi lovelies! Today, I wanted to review an absolutely gorgeous perfume for you all. When it comes to perfume, I like sweet scents, but a fruity/ floral kind of sweet and anything with too much of a vanilla, caramel or musky scent just gives me a headache and with most Juicy Couture fragrances, that was definitely the case. So, when I first tried 'Couture La La', I was really pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous fruity/ floral, fresh scent.

Of course, perfumes are different on everyone's skin, but when I spray this on, it first smells quite citrussy and fruity and the floral notes don't set in until the perfume settles down. Then after a few hours, it settles to a light, pretty floral scent. This descriptions online say this has a musky base, but I don't get that at all, which is definitely a good think - as musky scents? Not my thing! While the strong fruity scent doesn't last long, the pretty floral scent does. This perfume lasts for hours after you first spray it and I've had a fair few people ask me what I'm wearing when I have it on.

Could I possibly do a review without a mention of the packaging? And this packaging is certainly something! The bottle itself is a pretty light pink glass, with the classic Juicy logo in silver, with a gorgeous glass 'diamond' lid, with a bright pink bow with stunning glass jewels around the bottle top. It looks absolutely stunning on my perfume shelf - which definitely helps matters!

If you like fruity, floral, light daytime scents, then I'd totally recommend giving this pretty perfume a go!

Couture La La is available on sale in Debenhams now, so it's the perfect time to buy if you want to give it a go!

  5. Ooh this definitely sounds promising. I don't like musky scents either but it seems as though most perfumes add musk in their base notes. It's definitely a good thing that you can't smell it on this one. I'll have to test it out in store.
