NAKED FLUSHED: REVIEW

Naked Flushed Palette £20 - Available on Debenhams

Hi lovelies! Recently, I've been on a mission to revamp my make up bag as my 'every day' make up bag was getting a bit cluttered, four blushers, five lipsticks, two powders and three mascaras later, I decided enough was enough and it was time for a make up bag clear out. Or at least time to put some products back into the cupboard to use at a later date! I'll probably do a post on my simple every day make up bag soon but for today's post, I wanted to show you all a new product I bought recently with my simple every day look in mind. The Naked Flushed Palette from Urban Decay seemed like a perfect choice for me as it's a bronzer, blush and highlighter all in one pretty palette - perfect for my new clutter free make up bag!

This beautiful little palette contains a bronzer, highlighter and blush, all items I'd never tried from Urban Decay before, so to be honest, I had no idea what to expect from this little trio. I'd seen a couple of reviews of this a little while back, so when I came across this browsing through Debenhams online make up section, I decided to give it a go. The first thing I noticed when I got this through the post was the beautiful packaging. The little compact is so sleek and beautiful, it looks classy and high end, but the colour and font makes it fun too. It's slim, so it fits into my makeup bag easily, but you still get a lot of product and good sized, clear mirror, perfect for on the go.

Onto the product itself, these pretty powders certainly didn't disappoint! All three are very soft, finely milled and perfectly pigmented. The bronzer is the perfect shade for me as it's a fairly light, matte bronzer with a semi sheer finish. I use this a little heavier for contouring, then with a lighter touch for an all over sunkissed look. What I love about this is that it can be built up, or worn more sheer, depending on what look you're going for. While this is perfect on my pale skin, I honestly don't know how this would look on darker skin tones. This would probably also work on skin tones darker than my own, as it is buildable, but it's definitely in no way a dark bronzer. The highlighter is absolutely stunning, it's a pearly, pinky, shimmery powder, which gives a gorgeous, subtle glow to the cheekbones. It's very light, making it a fab highlight for lighter skin tones. Again, this can be worn lightly for a more subtle look, but can be built up if you want more of an obvious highlight for a night out or special occasion. This looks perfect paired with the lovely blush, which completes this palette. The blush is a pretty, matte, natural mid toned pink, which once again, can be worn subtly or built up. This is the one product in the palette that I think would work on all skin tones, though I'm not sure it's sold separately, which is a shame as it's so gorgeous.

I have been loving wearing all of these products together day to day, as they all go together so perfectly, I'm honestly surprised this palette hasn't been more hyped up in the bloggy world! Unless it has and I haven't noticed - oops! So, as I'm sure you can guess, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, particularly paler girlies struggling to find a bronzer that works on their skin! Of course, if you have a slightly darker skin tone and fancy giving this a go, then I'm sure you'll love it too. Well done Urban Decay! The Naked hype has finally lured me in, sort of. Do I cave and get the Naked 3 Palette?

Let me know your thoughts!

  8. This is so pretty, I always struggle to find a bronzer that doesn't look to dark or muddy on me. This one looks really nice and I love that shade of blush! Think this one is being added to the wishlist....
