SPRINGTIME ACCESSORISING

Pandora Daisy Earrings £35 on Joshua James Jewellery*

Hi lovelies! I don't know about you guys, but spring time is my absolute favourite time for jewellery and accessories, everything is just so pretty. Pastel coloured bags, candy coloured statement necklaces and flowers on everything! Despite loving a good statement necklace, bright coloured bag and hot pink or red lippie, I've always been a little more reserved when it comes to earrings. It's not that I don't like hoops or dangly earrings, I just never wear them. Infact, earrings are the one thing I'm happy to stick with for literally months at a time. I have a little pair of silver hearts that Darren got me that I literally wear every single day. I love studs, they just go with everything and are so easy to wear.

So, these little beauties from Pandora's Spring collection are absolutely perfect for me. They're really little and easy to wear every day, but they're something a little more special for spring time as opposed to my usual every day silver hearts. I'd never had anything from Pandora before, so it was quite exciting to get to add something from them to my collection. These are Sterling Silver, which is great for me, as I can't wear 'cheap' metal earrings as they make my ears itchy! They came beautifully packaged and would make a fab gift (my Mum is actually thinking of getting a pair for a birthday gift for a friend of hers!). What I love about these is that they're really little, so they won't weigh your ears down or feel too bulky, but the cute design makes them noticeable and different to your usual silver or diamond stud earrings.

If like me you're not one for big statement earrings but fancy something pretty for spring time, then I'd totally recommend taking a peek at these, I'm in love!

What do you think? Are you a studs or statement girl when it comes to earrings?

VERA WANG PRINCESS EDT REVIEW

Hi lovelies! Yes, I did just post a Perfume Collection post and no, it did not feature this one, which means that yes, I have just bought another perfume. It's becoming an issue. Perfume addiction problems aside, today I wanted to share with you a new love of mine. It's been on the market for a long time, since 2006 I believe, but I'd never gotten around to trying it, despite hearing lots about it and lusting after it for a long time. So, as you'll know by the title and photos, the perfume in question is Vera Wang's Princess.

I'd heard a lot about this perfume, and despite never having tested it on my skin, I decided to order it online as the 100ml was on offer on The Perfume Shop's website! I'm extremely guilting of buying blind when it comes to perfumes, I'll read reviews online, look up the notes in the scent and compare them to my other perfumes, then if I think I'll like it, I buy it. Not the most foolproof method and it definitely has failed me in the past, but luckily, this one was a definite hit.

As I've said in previous perfume posts, my taste in perfume is generally sweet, fruity florals, more on the sweet or fruity side than anything too floral. So many of my perfumes are very sweet and fruity or candy like. Princess has the sweet touch that I love, but is slightly softer and more sophisticated than many of my other scents. The notes listed are Apricot, Mandarin Orange, Green Apple, WaterLily, Tuberose, Guava, Dark Chocolate, Tiare Flower, Amber, Vanilla and Woodsy notes. From the reviews I've read and personal experience, I think this perfume develops very different on different people, so despite never taking this advice myself, I recommend testing this before buying if you're at all unsure.

It's definitely a sweet perfume and on first spray is quite fruity, the main fruit I pick up on is the Guava, which is an acquired taste for some, but I really love it. It then settles down to a gorgeous soft floral vanilla with a hint of dark chocolate. On me, the scent settles really quickly and after a just a few minutes, I can smell the guava, vanilla and chocolate with a hint of white floral and this is how it stays until it wears off about 5 or 6 hours later. It's pretty and powdery, without smelling like straight up baby powder or musk. However, my Mum tried this on and the Amber and Woody notes came out on her much more. It still had the chocolate, floral and vanilla notes, so it was still incredibly feminine and pretty but the scent smelt altogether more mature on her, which of course, she loved.

If I were to describe Princess in a word it would be 'feminine', not girly as such, as despite what many reviews say, I don't think this is a particularly young or juvenile scent, it's definitely pretty and it does make you feel girly when you wear it, but it's not that artificial Hollister Body Spray kind of girly (not knocking that, I have a couple of Hollister sprays myself!!). I wear this perfume to work a lot as it's light enough for the during the day, but also noticeable (it draws a lot of compliments!) and long lasting. I can see that this wouldn't be for everyone, as it is very fresh, but also slightly sweet, so if you like deeper musky or more night time scents, it may not be for you. However, I do think it's a very inoffensive scent as it's not too strong or overly sweet and headachy. This makes it a great everyday scent, as there's nothing worse than someone wearing a strong perfume that you absolutely cannot stand! It's a crowd pleaser for sure!

Overall, if you like sweet scents, but want something a little more subtle and gentle for every day, this is definitely one to check out.

What do you think? Have you tried Princess before? What did you think?

OUT THERE INTERIORS, WISHLIST AND REVIEW*

Hi lovelies! For a long time now, I've had a black, white and pink theme in my bedroom, with pink walls and one statement Marilyn Monroe wallpapered wall, white furniture and black and white bedding. However, I've been thinking a lot lately about how I'll decorate when I move out of my parents house. I absolutely adore white furniture and the vintage, parisian feel of all of the pieces you see above. I'm dreaming of fresh white walls, wooden flooring and a big, beautiful dressing table, a girl can dream!

A little while ago I was contacted by a company called Out There Interiors (this is actually where all the stuff from my little wishlist came from, click here to check it out!) and asked if I'd like to review a product. After having a little browse through their site, I said a definite yes and went for the gorgeous cream faux fur throw you can see below. I loved all of the options on the site, with many of the above pictures being some of my absolute favourites, but a thick, furry throw is something I'd wanted for a long time so it seemed like the perfect opportunity! The throw is fantastic quality, super thick, super soft and absolute huge, so perfect for snuggling up on the sofa in the evening! I actually decided to keep it on the sofa for this reason, as I absolute love how it looks with the cushions and I get really cold at night, so this feels so luxurious to cosy up with! I've also taken pictures of this on my Mums bed, as it looked fab with the colour scheme in her bedroom, she actually wanted to keep it herself!

What do you think? What would be in your dream bedroom?

FITNESS: WELLICIOUS GYM GEAR REVIEW*

Hi lovelies! Today, I wanted to do a quick fitness post, as I was recently sent some gorgeous products by a beautiful brand called Wellicious and I just had to share them with you all! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I just can't go to the gym in ugly clothes. Yes, you're there to work out not dress up for a night out, but to me, there's a time and a place for dodgy sweatpants and baggy tees and that time is at home, watching simpsons and never, repeat, never in public. You see, the way I see it, if I go to the gym feeling good about myself, wearing well fitted, pretty sports clothing, I'm going to work harder because it makes me want to be there. If I feel like I look crap, I'll feel crap and just want to go home! That might just be me, but because of this cute gym gear is an absolute must.

So, when I got the chance to try a couple of pieces of Wellicious fitness clothing, I was super excited! I chose the 'Align Bra' in Poppy Red, as I don't have many pretty coloured sports bras and this one looked really bright and pretty. I love the little crossover detail at the back and gathering at the front, it makes it really different than my other (slightly dull!) sports bras that I already have in my collection. What's great about this is that it provides enough support to be worn alone (particularly on my teeny tiny boobs!), but is also seamless and can be worn under a fitness tee or vest. If you like a low to medium impact sports bra, it's definitely worth taking a peek on the site at this one.

The other item I chose are the 'Hot Capris' in Pebble Grey. I really love these as the colour is slightly different to all my other gym leggings, which are mostly black. These are honestly the most comfortable pair of gym capris I've ever owned. I could literally sleep in these! The material is quite thick, but breathable, meaning you no visible sweat or VPL disasters! I got both of these items in a size small, which I think is equivalent to a UK size 6-8. I'm generally a size 6, but these have a fair bit of stretch to them, so they would definitely comfortably fit you if you're a definite size 8 too.

Overall, I'm very impressed with these little beauts! You can check out Wellicious here if you fancy some cute new gym wear!

Let me know your thoughts!

MY PERFUME COLLECTION

Hi lovelies! If you saw my last post, this post won't come as any surprise to you! Recently I've added a few extras to my perfume collection and while I have no doubt I'll be adding to it again in the near future (perfume is the one thing I have zero willpower over), I decided to show it to you all as it is now as I feel like I've built up a collection that I'm pretty happy with.

Just so you all have an idea, I tend to go for what I'd say are very girly perfumes, not necessarily all alike, but you won't find anything too spicy, heavy or musky in my collection, so if you're more of a Chanel No5 girl, my collection may not be for you! I love a fresh, fruity floral but I also adore sweet, vanilla, candy scents, so if that sounds like your kinda thing, read on girls!

First up is a cult classic, 'Daisy' by Marc Jacobs, this is the original Daisy and to be honest, until it was gifted to me by Fragrance Direct last year, I never really thought to buy it. However, this really is a beautiful scent, it lives up to it's name as it definitely is a floral scent, with notes of Violet and Jasmine, but it's quite a deep scent and how it develops will depend on the chemistry with your skin. On me personally, it opens up with a very obvious floral scent with a hint of citrus, then the dry down is a very slightly musky, fruity floral with a hint of woodsy notes. This is probably the most grown up perfume in my collection, so I tend to save this for days when I want to feel, well... grown up! Think afternoon tea or job interviews.

Next is my other Marc Jacobs perfume, 'Daisy Eau So Fresh Sunshine', it kills me that this has nearly run out as it was Limited Edition last spring and I was obsessed with it. If it wasn't getting so close to the end, I'd honestly still probably wear this almost every day. This is a classic fruity floral, very sweet with opening notes of strawberry and grapefruit that stick around for quite some time before drying down to a pretty floral, still with strong fruity notes, which is what I love about it. It's very fun, fresh and super girly. If I can get my hands on this, I'd definitely want to get another bottle. And speaking of the bottle, Marc Jacobs can do no wrong in my eyes, these bottles are beautiful and even if I didn't like the smell, they'd still have pride of place on my shelf!

Another brand that suck me in with the gorgeous bottles is Juicy Couture and after wanting to try one of their perfumes for the longest time, my Nan and Grandad got me 'Couture La La' for Christmas last year. Again, this is another fruity floral, very fresh and very light. This one is definitely a day time perfume as it is very light, but despite it being quite light, I have had quite a few compliments on this one as it is a very pretty scent. It's top notes are mandarin orange, green apple and red currant, with a more floral, slightly green dry down. However on me, a hint of the fruitiness sticks around, making it a pretty floral with just a hint of sweetness, absolutely perfect for day time.

Again, gorgeous pink bottle, Victoria's Secret 'Bombshell'. This is one fragrance that I will honestly repurchase again and again. This holds a very special place in my heart as I first smelled it in New York a few years ago, on my very first trip to Victoria's Secret. I absolutely fell in love with the scent, again a very sweet fruity floral, but more complex than some of my other scents. It's very fruity and sweet with grapefruit, orange, passionfruit, strawberry and pineapple, but also slightly woodsy and a tiny hint of musk, making it a deep, sexy fragrance, that still works in the day time, but is also perfect for a night out or a date (it's actually my boyfriend's favourite!). It's a toughie to describe, but if you like a sweet, fruity scent, I'd definitely recommend this one.

Guess 'Girl' was one of my Valentine's presents from Darren this year. I'd wanted to try it for a while as I'd heard it was similar to Bombshell. So I was really pleased when I smelled it to find out that it is infact very similar! It's like a slightly lighter version of Bombshell, perhaps slightly more youthful, which is fab as it makes it more suited to day time. It's not too in your face or overly sweet, but is definitely a very girly scent. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes a pretty, fruity scent that's easy to wear and not overly expensive. And of course, whose perfume shelf is really complete without a pretty pink flower shaped bottle?

Next is one of my oldest perfumes, that I should possibly get rid of but kind of don't want to, 'Tresor In Love' by Lancome. Again, this is fruity, but also with quite obvious rose notes. The fruit stops the rose being too overpowering and grannyish, but if you don't like rose, this won't be for you. Honestly, this isn't something I reach for now, but I used to wear this all the time when I first started seeing Darren, so the scent really takes me back to that time, which I love. I really do associate scents with memories so this is more of a memory in a bottle for me!

The cute little baby on the end is 'Babydoll' by YSL, similar to Tresor in Love, this is an unmistakably rosey scent. However it's also fruity, which tones this down slightly. This one isn't as sweet as some of my other perfumes and honestly, it isn't my favourite on it's own as it does stay quite rosey on the skin and the scent really sticks around for a long time. The reason I like this though is that it's a great layering scent. Sometimes I'll spritz a little of this on before a much sweeter perfume to develop a warmer, sweeter floral. You do have to be careful layering scents though because as I've learned in the past, sometimes this can really not go well! So perhaps experiment before showering if you fancy trying it out. Back to the scent though, if you're very into florals, you'll probably love this.

These next two perfumes are both EDTs from Victoria's Secret. These little 30ml bottles are always in Victoria's Secrets 5 for £30 deal in their bath and body section so I can never resist picking one or two up when I go in there. The ones I have on the go right now are 'Pure Daydream' and 'Pure Seduction', which are both very simple, sweet fruity florals. Pure Daydream is the fresher, lighter of the two with notes of pink currant and pearl orchid, where Pure Seduction lives up to it's name being a deeper, sexier scent with notes of red plum and sweet freesia. I love these as they're really easy to wear and for EDTs they last a fairly long time too. I think these are great for anyone who fancies an inexpensive scent, or if you're just getting started with perfumes. Victoria's Secret have a huge range so it's definitely worth checking it out if you're on the hunt for a new scent!

These next two are probably my two cheapest perfumes, but both are surprisingly lovely. The first one is 'Secret Fantasy Star' from Avon, which my boyfriend's mum gave to me when she used to be an Avon rep. I'd never tried an Avon perfume before so wasn't too sure what to expect but this is actually really nice. It's a sweet, fruity scent with citrussy notes, which dries down to a light fruity floral with woodsy notes. I actually really like this one for every day. As I have so many other perfumes, I don't reach for this as much as I used to, but it really is a lovely scent. I think this would make a great first proper fragrance for a younger girl as it's sweet, but also slightly more grown up than a body splash or hello kitty scent from Claire's!

Another one that surprised me was 'White Musk Sun Glow' from the Body Shop. This one was actually my sisters, but as she moved to Uni, a few of her things slowly made their way to my room and this was one of the them! The word 'musk' initially put me off, but this scent is different, because while it does open up slightly musky, the dry down is a very fresh, clean citrussy floral. A hint of musk does stick around, but it doesn't sit too close to the skin and isn't a heavy granny musk scent. Again, not one I reach for too often, but still a nice scent for the right occasion. I'd say this is a good scent for evenings on holiday, it's summery, but also more of an evening scent.

Onto my celeb fragrances, as I said in my Perfume Wishlist post, I think celeb perfumes get a bad rap, but pick the right ones and they really can be pretty amazing! The cute little blue bottle is Britney Spears 'Circus Fantasy', which is a slightly lighter, slightly fresher version of the original Fantasy. As with all the Fantasy scents, this is a very sweet fragrance, but it's more fruity and more floral than the original Fantasy, which is much sweeter and more vanilla scented, but this still has the sweet, fun feel of the original, just perhaps more suitable for every day wear.

Speaking of which, I finally got another bottle of Britney Spears 'Fantasy'! I actually got this one just today as it was only £19.99 for 100ml bottle in The Perfume Shop - amazing! I think it's some sort of Mother's Day deal so if you fancy it I'd grab it while you can! This is my favourite of the Britney perfumes and while I love Circus Fantasy, this one will always win for me. It's a very sweet fruity scent, on me, it literally smells like white chocolate, cupcakes and fruit. So, if very sweet sugary scents aren't for you, you will not like this. However, if you want to smell good enough to eat, you need this in your life.

Another celeb perfume that has become a firm favourite in my collection and actually my current 'go to' for every day is Katy Perry's 'Meow'. You can see in the photo of my shelf that I actually have two bottles of this. I ordered the 30ml on AllBeauty for around £8, but then today, found it for £19.99 for 100ml along with Fantasy in The Perfume Shop, so I couldn't resist stocking up! Plus, having a mummy cat and baby cat on my perfume shelf pleases me immensely. This is like a slightly softer version of Fantasy, it's fruity and sweet with soft vanilla notes. It's got more floral in it than Fantasy, but still remains a lovely sweet scent. If you like sweeter perfumes, but don't want to smell like a bakery, you will love this one.

Finally, after one of my absolute favourite bottles, comes the absolute worst. This tacky little so and so is Nicki Minaj's 'Pink Friday'. Despite the creepy looking bottle, the scent inside is beautiful. It actually reminds me a lot of my beloved 'Daisy Eau So Fresh Sunshine', as it's a pretty, fruity floral, but also has sweet caramel notes, making it a super sweet girly scent. I cannot describe this any other way than it literally smells like the colour pink. Go give it a sniff, you'll see what I mean. The scent is so beautiful that I can forgive the ugly bottle, we don't wear bottles do we?!

Phew! What do you think? Are there any perfumes you think my collection needs? I'd love to know!
P.S. if you'd like to see the other products on my shelf, i.e. body sprays and perfumed lotions, let me know in the comments.

DIAMONDS ARE A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND*

Hi lovelies! Is there any girl out there that doesn't love a good diamond? Despite not actually currently owning any diamonds myself, I occasionally I find myself just gazing into jewellery shop windows wishing I could have them all! I often watch shows like Gossip Girl and find myself drooling over all the gorgeous diamond necklaces and things, oh to be a Manhattan socialite... I think diamonds are such a romantic thing as they're most commonly given in the form of engagement rings, or diamond earrings to mark special occasions, so I feel like every girl should own at least one piece of diamond jewellery in her lifetime (wishful thinking?!).

All of these gorgeous pieces are from a site I was recently introduced to called Anjolee, which is a site where you can build your own diamond jewellery (I know, amazing.), so be it a necklace, bracelet, engagement ring, eternity ring or wedding band, you can completely customize absolutely any piece of jewellery you fancy. You can customize the metal type, diamond type and carat weight, which I think makes this an even more special gift, as it's completely personalised. The site is a US site, but they do ship worldwide, so if your birthday's coming up, or you think your other half is likely to pop the question any time soon, it's definitely time to start dropping some serious hints ladies!

What are your thoughts? Do you dream of diamonds like me?!

PERFUME WISHLIST

Hi lovelies! If you follow me on twitter, it's likely you'll have seen me banging on about my current obsession with perfume. I just can't seem to get enough of it lately and have been desperately wanting to expand my collection, i.e. buy unnecessary amount of perfume and justify it by saying I'm 'expanding my collection'. So, despite already buying three more perfumes to add to my perfume shelves, I thought I'd share with you all a few more that I have my eye on at the moment.

As you'll be able to tell from this list, I tend to lean towards sweeter perfumes, either fruity florals, or sweet, vanilla type scents. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau so Fresh Sunshine edition was my absolute favourite perfume last year and I only have a teeny tiny amount left and as it's limited edition, it's pretty hard to get hold of now! So I was super excited to find out Marc Jacobs was releasing another version of Daisy this year, 'Daisy Delight', which is another fruity floral scent that sounds right up my alley! And hey, even if it's not, the bottle is gorgeous and will look fab on my shelf! Another Marc Jacobs one that's on my list is 'Dot', I only recently tried this one and I absolutely loved how it developed on me. I only tested a tiny bit in Boots, but I kept getting little whiffs of it all day, this may have to be one for my birthday wishlist! A not so new perfume that's been on my wishlist for the longest time is Vera Wang Princess. I've heard endless great things about this, it's a sweet, vanilla scent with fruity and floral notes, very girly and pretty. The bottle is stunning and to be honest, I don't know why I still don't have it in my collection! Must. Buy.

Sometimes, I feel like Celeb perfumes get a bit of a bad rap, but I think if you find the right ones, they can be every bit as lovely as some of the more high end fragrances. Britney Spears Fantasy has become a bit of a cult perfume, particularly in the blogger/ beauty guru world. It's a super sweet scent, but not too overpowering and the bottle looks gorgeous on just about any perfume shelf! I actually have this one already, but am getting right to the end of my bottle and I really don't want to see it go! It's a fab, every day sweet scent and as it's quite inexpensive, I don't feel like I have to be too sparing with this one. Another sweet celeb fragrance is Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck Enchanted, which is a deeper version of the original Wonderstruck. It's a sweet, vanilla, fruity, woody scent, slightly more suited to night time than many of these other fragrances. My sister has this and I absolutely love it on her, so I desperately want my own bottle!

What do you think of my picks? What are some of your fave perfumes?

MY PERFECT RED LIP: MAC LADY DANGER & HIGH ENERGY PRO LONGWEAR LIP PENCIL

Hi lovelies! I recently posted a mini MAC haul and today, I'm doing a review of not one, but to of the products I picked up, which paired together create the perfect red lip for me. Red lipstick is something that makes me feel instantly more confident and 'put together't. It's pretty much become my signature thing for a night out! However, I'd never really stuck to one particular lippie and my lip liner collection is lacking to say the least. So I went on a bit of a mission to discover the perfect combo that was the right shade for me, long lasting and fab quality, so naturally, MAC seemed like the only place to turn.

When it comes to red lipstick, I prefer something quite bright and warm toned to the deeper, blue toned reds such as 'Ruby Woo' or 'Russian Red', which a lot of people tend to go for. For me though, a slightly more orange toned red definitely suits my skintone better and as I said, I'd been on a mission to find my perfect one. Step up 'Lady Danger'! I'd heard countless great things about this shade, so when I made my MAC order, it went straight into my basket! It's a gorgeous bright, orange toned red with a matte finish, which my absolute favourite finish for any lipstick, as I tend to prefer matte to glossy and find matte finish lipsticks to be generally more long lasting. It's fab as it's not drying like many matte lippies are, it glides on easily and doesn't cling to any dry patches. While this does look beautiful and last really well on it's own, I wanted to grab a lip liner to go with it, to make it look extra bold for nights out and to make sure it lasted all night long!

I spent a while googling MAC lip pencil shades to find the perfect one to go with Lady Danger, and the one that looked the closest was 'High Energy', which is one of MAC's Pro Longwear lip pencils. I was really excited to try this, as I'd never tried a Pro Longwear pencil before. I love the regular MAC lip liners, so it was interesting to see how this compared to those. Well, I can tell you they definitely don't lie when they say long wear! Even the swatch on my hand took some serious scrubbing before it would budge! 'High Energy' is almost the exact same warm toned red as Lady Danger, making them the perfect pairing for bright red lip lovers! I tend to use this all over my lips underneath Lady Danger, as it provides the perfect base colour and literally lasts for hours without needing any topping up. Seriously impressive! I really want to try a few more of MAC's pro longwear liners now, as I don't have too many lip liners and this one has become a fast favourite in my make up collection.

What do you think of my picks? Do you have a go to red lip combo? I'd love to know!
