BENEFIT COSMETICS MAJORETTE REVIEW AND #CHEEK2CHEEK TAG*

Hi lovelies! If you follow me on instagram, you'll have seen that Benefit surprised many of us lucky bloggers lately with these gorgeous personalised packages centred around their newest release, 'Majorette'. Majorette is a gorgeous 'poppy pink-peach' colour cream 'booster blush' that can be worn alone or under another blush for 'an instant pep-up'. As you can see, in my adorable rose gold box, I found a hilarious 'Take a Peek at Those Cheeks' mug with my name on it (I was thrilled with this) along with Majorette and the lovely Dandelion 'Box O Powder', which I've had my eye on for ages, so I was over the moon that this was the blush in my box!

So, as I hadn't actually heard a great deal about Majorette, I wasn't really too sure what to expect, but I'm so glad to have been able to give it a go because I am now officially in love. This is a gorgeous colour alone and blends like an absolute dream, even when I forgot to put it on and applied it over powder, huge bonus for a cream blush! The texture is gorgeous and it gives a light, but buildable flush, so it's fab worn alone, however when you layer another blush, it really does make it pop. I've been wearing this with Dandelion layered over the top every day this week and I've absolutely loved it. It brings out the colour of any blush you wear and as it's a cream, it gives it something to cling to and makes it much more long lasting, which is fab for long days at work.

Benefit have created a 'Cheeky Tag' in honour of the gorgeous new product, so, these are the questions!

1. How do you apply Majorette?
As I said above, I use it with blush over the top, but I love it alone for a more natural look.

2. What Box O' Powder do you wear Majorette with?
I've been using this with Dandelion, as it's only Box O' Powder blush that I have, but I've also given it a go alongside Hoola, which I absolutely love. I think the peachy colour of this goes gorgeously with Hoola bronzer.

3. What's your top tip for beautiful cheeks?
I'd say apply a little cream blush to the apples of your cheeks, with a powder blush to set over the top. Then, to really make your cheeks pop, add a little shimmery highlight to the cheekbones for a pretty, glowy look that lasts all day!

4. What's your cheekiest nail colour?
I wasn't too aware that nail colours could be cheeky! However, I love wearing a bright, barbie pink gel with gems for a super flirty, very Essex look! Does that count??

5. What's the cheekiest thing you've done?
I'm not sure I could pinpoint one 'cheeky' thing, as there's a fine line between 'cheeky' and just plain bad or wrong!! However, something cheeky I do frequently is hint to get what I want! I know, it's terrible, but I'm a hinter. For example, if I fancy a back massage, I'll tell my boyfriend that my shoulders really ache and I've had a really long day... The system works.

6. Who's the cheekiest person you know?
That'd be my Mum. Where do you think I got it from?? My things often disappear then later on, I'll see my Mum and she'll be wearing my favourite shoes, or she'll have a very familiar bag on her arm. At least it means I can borrow her stuff without feeling guilty!

7. Who's cheeks would you sneak a peek at if you could?
I don't actually really get what this means, assuming it means bum cheeks, if I'm honest I see far too many bums already with my job (I'm a beauty therapist, before you start thinking that sounds strange), so I really couldn't care much less!!!

8. What cheeky movie character do you like the most?
Fat Amy. All. The. Way. Crushed it.

9. Have you ever rubbed cheeks with a celebrity?
I actually don't know that I have. I've met a few very briefly, but not really to talk to. Unless Jeff Brazier coming into the salon I used to work in counts? It doesn't, does it?

10. What's your favourite cheeky song? (Basically a guilty pleasure!)
Let it go, duh.

11. Who do you 'pass the baton to' (tag?)
Everyone! Particularly if you've had the chance to try Majorette, but even if you haven't, you could perhaps answer what you would use it with if you did give it a go!

Let me know your thoughts! Have you tried Majorette yet? Would you like to?

  1. How cute is this! I love the mug too, it's so silly, but I'm not sure how often I would be drinking out of it in front of family-haha!
