WINTER FLORALS: 3 WAYS

Hi lovelies! Today, I thought I'd do something that I think is a first for me. It's a style post, taking one trend and styling it three different ways. I've done outfit and style posts before, but this is something a little different, so I'd love to know your thoughts and if you'd like to see more of this kind of post! Excuse the slightly dull indoor photos, I was going to take these outside, but it's freezing and pretty windy right now, so that was never going to go very well.

In this post, I've chosen to style 'Winter Florals', floral prints are something often associated with the summer and I don't see why! So, I've chosen three floral pieces that I think are Winter appropriate and shown that, (in my opinion!) you can pair florals with tights, boots and winter coats, it's just a case of switching up the colours. So, without further rambling, let's get into it!

The Dress
I think this beautiful cut out dress from Missguided is stunning. It was seriously inexpensive and the quality is just stunning and it fits absolutely perfectly. I paired this with some heeled ankle boots from George at Asda (similar here), a simple pink clutch from Stradivarius and as it is a winter outfit, this gorgeous pink boyfriend coat from Boohoo. I think this outfit will be great for all the events that are coming up around Christmas time and it was all super affordable too - mega bonus!

The Skirt
A slightly more casual look, I paired this adorable dark floral a-line skirt from Missguided with a simple black tee, ankle boots from Dorothy Perkins and added a pretty necklace from Next for a bit of sparkle (well it is the festive season.. almost). For a jacket, I chose my baby blue biker jacket from Miss Selfridge, as it lightened up an otherwise rather dark outfit and I think it creates a fab balance of pretty and edgy.

The Skort
Who says bright clothes are for summer? I think this gorgeous bright pink skort, also Missguided is great for the winter, as the black and cream print makes it perfect to pair with tights and boots. Again, I paired this with a simple black tee and these heeled cut out boots from New Look. I added a simple gold necklace, that I think was from River Island a little while ago, but you can find similar everywhere! With this, I paired my grey cocoon coat from Missguided and fur collar from, you guessed it, also Missguided! I think this outfit would be perfect for slightly more relaxed nights out, perhaps to a pub or out for dinner. It's quite eye catching as bright pink is quite an unexpected colour in the winter months, but I think this skort is absolutely perfect for the cooler weather!

So that's it! I'd love to know your thoughts on this post and if you'd like to see more like this!
What was your favourite of the three outfits? Let me know in the comments!
