Hi lovelies! Happy December! I'm so excited that it's finally December, if you hadn't already noticed by the excessive instagram posts, festive blog posts and excitable tweets, I absolutely love Christmas. When December finally hits, it feels like it really is properly Christmas time. So, with that in mind, I have yet another festive themed post for you all today. Earlier today, I popped out of work to go to the bank and as the salon I work in is surrounded by shops, of course, it's pretty difficult to head straight there without a bit of window shopping!
I'd seen all the Benefit Christmas sets before and absolutely love all of them, but one I was particularly excited for was the 'Best of Benefit' set. Boots come out with one of these sets every single year and I almost always miss it, as they sell out so quick! So, when I saw a huge stand full of them in Boots as I walked past today, I was taking no chances and bought it there and then! So, I thought I'd share this gift idea with you lovely lot ASAP, because trust me, these babies don't hang around for long!
This set is, as far as I know, exclusive to Boots, but do feel free to correct me if I'm wrong! Priced at £24.50 with a value of £54, this is a massive bargain (probably why they fly off the shelves!) and would make a great gift for any beauty lover. The great thing is, if like me, you already love Benefit and use their products, these are fab for putting together a mini makeup bag to carry round with you. I personally already have most of the products in this kit in full size, but carrying round lots of full size makeup products is a pain and this set has virtually everything you need for everyday touch ups in mini form - cute! For someone quite new to makeup, or just new to Benefit as a brand, it's the perfect way to try out some of their best selling products before taking the plunge and buying the full size.
As you can see, the kit contains miniature versions of the PoreFessional Primer (a can't live without product for me!), Benetint and Highbeam, Boi-ing concealer, Hoola Bronzer and They're Real mascara and liner (also two of my holy grail products!). I can honestly say I love every single one of these products and it's going to be super handy having the little versions of these in my handbag. What I love about Benefit miniatures is that they're compact and easy to carry round, but not so tiny that you get hardly any product. Don't let the small sizes deceive you - these little cuties last a very long time. Benetint and Highbeam in particular last an incredibly long time, as you have to use the tiniest amount of product.
Another little bonus, inside this kit, you get a voucher for extra Boots points when you purchase Benefit products online at Boots and for a free 'Make-upper' at your local Benefit counter. This means you can get a free makeover from a Benebabe - perfect for those that are quite new to make-up and in need of some tips! And on top of all of that, just look at the pretty packaging, how adorable is this? I absolutely love Benefit's Sweet Shop theme with their Christmas gifts this year and the pink and gold on this one is just too pretty to resist. I seriously challenge all of you to find a cuter, girlier Christmas gift set.
This is, unsurprisingly, currently sold out online, but definitely check your local Boots to see if they have these in stock, if not keep your eyes on the Boots website in case they restock these any time soon!
What do you think? Is this something you'd like to give or receive for Christmas? Or perhaps like me, something you'll just be buying yourself!
Let me know what Christmas gifts you've been loving lately!
